From "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing," the "Gundam Epion" has been fully realized as a new RG model with dedicated, innovative articulation features, optimized for powerful and natural Beam Sword wielding. The RG model also incorporates an RG-original interpretation inspired by the Winged Dragon.

The two-axis + one-axis swing articulation in the torso and forward-abdomen expansion greatly improves flexibility during forward bends.
The hip joints have a locking mechanism that enables both transformation and articulation, allowing for robust and extensive swings.
Additional articulation axes on the upper wrists and forearm roll articulation provide a wide range of expressive poses.
The shoulder armor deploys, allowing for arm elevation while maintaining shoulder position, suitable for powerful Beam Sword wielding with both hands.
The blades follow the knee movement without hindering natural kneeling poses.
The wing sections are interlinked to the movement of the wings, with the base-axis articulation enabling height adjustment of the wings.
In MA mode, the horn and mouth can open, allowing for expressive displays.
Built-in pull-out ball articulation in the shins and thigh articulation axes create flexible neck articulation reminiscent of a Winged Dragon.
The Heat Rod features the Advanced MS Joint, achieving a sharp, flexible movement with a spiral-like form.
The cable connecting the Beam Sword and Mount Latch uses lead wires.
